Sandra Medium Hair Cut

Tools you will need:

  1. Comb
  2. Scissors
  3. Blow Dryer
  4. Sectioning Clips
  1. Take rectangular section straight out from head. Take vertical sections and work forward (to reduce weight). On the last section, overdirect hair backward (to retain some weight).
  2. Working side to side, repeat some sectioning on left side. Important: Pull hair straight out from head.
  3. Section hair in back. Starting at center back, take a vertical section. Pull hair straight out, parallel to floor. Cut. Going forward, overdirect each section to original back guide. (This maintains front length while removing weight.)
  4. Work hair evenly from side to side. Continue to over direct hair back to original guild.
  1. Blow-dry undersection, brushing hair forward following shape of head. Important: hair is finished (blow-dried) in stages, not just after the cut.
  2. After drying undersection, clean up around face. Cut just the ends, downs to ear. Continue up from bottom, cleaning edge of hairline.
  3. Moving to front, section hair in horseshoe shape.
  4. Pull hair straight up. Tilt to 45-degree angle. Cut.
  1. Drop down top section, dry and flatiron before finishing cut. Working from top, find your pivot point; angle steeply (454 degrees). Work around head. Do not overdirect hair. Just cut in parallel sections.
  2. Continue waking around top of head, pulling parallel sections at 45 degrees angle.
  3. Important: Notice hard angle underneath, now slice though perimeter soften look.
  4. Continue slicing through to back bottom.
  1. Point-cut fringe length.
  2. Detail fringe by cleaning up ends, continue point-cutting. Continue point-cutting through entire top layer.
  3. Freehand-cut back length with natural shape of hair. In center back, use pointing and slicing techniques to add definition to length.

This style can be found in Technical Volume 2!

The before was pretty bad, but the after cut makes her look like an alien. And why on Earth would she bleach her fringe like that?

I Think That The Style Needs A Bit More Volume. I Dont Like The Lighter Colour In The Fringe. I Would Say Stick To One Colour If You Are Going To Do That.
At The End Of the Day It Doesnt Matter What Other People Think, Its All About What You Think.
I Say You Only Live Once. Try As Many Styles You Like =)
